Connecting and Enriching Socorro
The Socorro Public Library is proud to be an integral part of our community, dedicated to meeting the educational, cultural, and recreational needs of local residents. Our mission drives us to offer a range of services and programs for both youth and adults that encourage reading, learning, and literacy. These include weekly preschool story times, “Books ‘n More” programs for children aged 7 and older, monthly Makerspace events, the “Reading is Fundamental” program that distributes books to children from Pre-K through third grade, and our popular Summer Reading Program.
Additionally, we provide wireless internet access, fifteen public computer workstations, and a wealth of resources through our reference desk. We strive to offer modern library materials in various formats to best serve our patrons.
